2007 marked the release of the Nissan GT-R in Japan and not too much after it hit the US. It is one of the best supercars out there today and we at Jim Johnson Nissan do not think that will change.

Nissan Sets Down Special Stone to Celebrate New Mexico Manufacturing Plant


Auto brand Nissan certainly does understand how to successfully combine cultures! Recently, the Japanese automaker celebrated its newest manufacturing plant in Aguasalientes, Mexico, the second of its kind and the third total plant in the country, by setting down the first stone of the building in a ceremony that beautifully combined Japanese and Mexican cultures.

"It might seem to outsiders that the Nissan has taken a full-fledged risk over before making its grand entry into Australia," according to Bill Peffer, Managing Director for Nissan. U.S. Nissan LEAF Production Plans Tremble in Wake of March 11th Earthquake

U.S. production of the Nissan LEAF was expected to start late in 2012, at the Smyrna, Tennessee plant. Unfortunately, the aftershock of the devastating earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan on March 11 might just force the company to push the date back a bit.
