Nissan To Track Charging Stations From LEAF Owners

There is no doubt about it, the Nissan LEAF is a great choice for those looking to almost abolish their carbon footprint, so why doesn't everyone have one? There are a few reasons why some people are not jumping to the opportunity, among the biggest is charging. The main problem is that charging takes time and charging stations can be difficult to find. Nissan is of course working hard to solve the problem of run time and making charging stations…

Nissan LEAF Rally's in Denmark

The Nissan LEAF just checked off another to do on its list. The award-winning EV went to Denmark to compete in the inaugural Oresund Rally - a competition open exclusively to electric vehicles (EVs).

The Danish EV rally was dramatically different from events in which conventional petrol cars compete. There were no dirt storms or aerobatic-like moments. Rather, the main criteria judged at the Oresund Rally was timing, which kept things pretty calm.

Competitors were tasked with passing established checkpoints on time. Tardiness resulted in penalties. Being early didn't work to competitors' advantage, either. That also resulted in docked points…

Online gaming and sites like Foursquare are blowing up - allowing users to have "bragging rights" over how many times they play a game, check into a restaurant, or how much they can use Twitter while driving (not that we condone texting as you drive - in fact we're pretty much against that practice).

Nissan hopes that the Leaf will be the best selling all-electric vehicle on the streets of America and the Leaf is getting into the gaming world too.

We know Leaf's seven-inch display gives real-time information, like how much CO2 the driver is keeping out of the…
