Japanese automaker Nissan has officially pulled the cover off the updated NISMO variant of the 370Z sports car at the Chicago Auto Show, and we know that more than a few of our readers from the greater Bowling Green area would love some details.
From what we've seen, this appears to be a cosmetic update more than a performance one. Considering the fact that the current model features a 3.7-liter V6 that produces 350 hp, this doesn't come as a shock to our new Nissan experts.
So what has changed then?
Arriving at 2200 Scottsville Road in Bowling, Green, KY this summer, the 2014 Nissan 370Z Nismo will be available in four colors: Pearl White, Magnetic Black, Gun Metallic and an all-new Solid Red (replacing the previous Magma Red). No matter which exterior you choose, you'll find new gray exterior accents that are topped off with a red pinstripe. These include the front and rear fascias, side sills, side mirrors and rear spoiler.
And that's just on the outside. On the inside, the 2014 Nissan 370Z NISMO features a new steering wheel with Alcantara appointments and red accents - perfect for gripping at high speeds. A new red NISMO tachometer, meanwhile, has been strategically placed for maximum at-a-glance visibility.
