With Nissan's recent global brand campaign featuring Usain Bolt, the fastest man in the world we at Jim Johnson Nissan can't help but wonder if Nissan is hinting at something.
A couple things that we do know if that this is the first worldwide advertising campaign that Nissan has ever done and it is called "WHAT_IF." For about a year the campaign is set to run and consumers should expect to see it showing up online and in international airports.
We have put together that the GT-R seems to be the primary focus of the ad campaign after watching a behind the scenes that was posted on Nissan's website. If you have never heard of the GT-R the sports car is offered in to trim levels: Premium and Black Edition.
The 2013 Nissan GT-R Premium is perhaps best known for its handcrafted 545-hp twin-turbo V6 engine and ATTESA E-TS All-Wheel Drive system. The Black Edition promises the same levels of power, but also 20" Special black super-lightweight forged-alloy RAYS, a dry carbon-fiber rear spoiler, Recaro leather-appointed front seats and menacing red and black interior color scheme.

Speaking on Bolt, one individual involved with the making of the new Nissan campaign says, "He [Bolt] looks fast just sitting on the blocks doing nothing."1
And, then there is Bolt, a man with an evident penchant for speed...Talking idly about the Nissan GT-R, he says, "Drive a car like the GT-R and it gives you chills...We go together."2
