They say the proof is in the pudding. Well, in Nissan's case, the pudding is February's numbers, proving that Nissan is quickly growing in popularity. To be exact the numbers show a significant jump of over 30 percent. That's tremendous! And, it doesn't even account for growth by Nissan's luxury brand, Infiniti.
Some might argue such a jump in sales is simply an effect of rising consumer confidence. We don't disagree. That's certainly part of it. It's also a result of increased awareness of what the Nissan brand symbolizes and more importantly what the Nissan brand delivers: top value, peak performance, unparallel innovation, statement-making style, economical reliability, and let's not forget top-of-the-line service.
Speaking on Nissan's notable February sales, Al Castignetti, Vice President and General Manager, Nissan division said, "Nissan enjoyed a record February on strong increase by several models, clearly led by the best-ever month for the Rogue. Even though February is a short month, we saw great customer traffic on models across our lineup."1
At a more granular level, we can see that cars and small crossovers were among Nissan's top performing vehicles in February. The Rogue crossover sales, for example, jumped a dramatic 86 percent. The Sentra compact car sales came in at a close second, with a 62 percent increase. And the Nissan Altima midsize car sales rose nearly 29 percent.
